Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a cosmetic treatment that exfoliates your skin and removes dirt and vellus hair, better known as "peach fuzz." It involves the use of a sterile surgical scalpel to gently scrape off the top layer of dead skin cells. The result is smoother, brighter skin with an improved texture and tone.
As we age, our cell turnover slows down, affecting our skin's texture and tone. Dermaplaning is a simple and safe procedure that gently exfoliates the top layer of dead skin cells, revealing a brighter, smoother complexion. This leaves the skin ultra-smooth and perfectly prepped for makeup, giving it an "airbrushed" finish.

Dead skin cells can make your complexion look dull and contribute to clogged pores and blemishes. Dermaplaning allows skincare products and serums to penetrate more effectively into the skin rather than sitting on its surface. You'll also find you need to use less product, as there is no hair to trap it. By removing the peach fuzz (vellus hair) on the face, dermaplaning creates a beautifully smooth surface for skincare products and makeup to glide on flawlessly.
